Eve & Nigel: Ballykealey House Wedding
Eve and Nigel got married in the stunning Ballykealey House in county Carlow, it was my first time working there and I loved it. The staff was so friendly, effiecient and helpful and I had one of the best vegetarian meals in there (barley risotto - so good!).The whole day was in the same venue, Eve and Nigel both got ready in the lodges near the main house and their ceremony was in a barn that is on the grounds of Ballykealey House. Their grounds also have a lovely woodsy area featuring a big wooden swing and lots of fairy lights on trees (so beautiful at night especially). It is so close to main house, that it makes it very handy photoshoot location, it's so easy to pop out of dinner room before first dance for some fairy light night shots!I also learned a fun new trick on Eve and Nigel's wedding: you can iron your veil by using hot air from your hairdryer. This tip is thanks to Eve's hairdresser Joanne Lane. Very handy to know for sure. And also I need to mention how amazing is Eve's dress and her bow/veil combo. She looked stunning!
